Walliserhof - Tasch

Staff at Walliserhof were helpful, providing thorough information about ski passes and recommendations for attractions. Breakfast featured a nice variety of breads and pastries. A downside was the spa, closed for the season. The room felt a bit cramped, but it was a good base for exploring Zermatt. Not having a refrigerator in the room was a minor inconvenience, especially for longer stays. A pleasant visit, but some amenities could enhance the overall experience.

everything was wonderful, accommodating staff, amazing location just next door to tasch which is about a 12 minute train ride from the ski resport, the switzerland and the train station to reach zermatt. we got friendly services and absolutely stunning room for secure storage. we thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful balcony and a storage.

The staff was very accommodating.

Our room didn't have a shower curtain or door, so it was hard to take a shower without getting the bathroom wet. The room next door did have a shower door, so it's not a problem with all rooms.

Convenient access to the train station, perfect for hopping over to Zermatt. The room offered decent space compared to others in the area.

Proximity to the train station means constant noise, with trains rolling through every 20 minutes, which can disrupt sleep if you're sensitive to sound. The shower setup was cramped and awkward, with a shower head that constantly shifted and made washing a hassle. Basic amenities like an electric kettle were missing, leading to an inconvenient stay for caffeine cravings.

Staying in a romantic suite with a sauna was an absolute delight! The views of the nearby mountains from my room were amazing, and the privacy of the large balcony made my mornings so special. I particularly loved the hotel's direct train service to Zermatt.

Terrible breakfast and mediocre dinner. Expensive internet usage!

Convenient location close to the train station to catch the shuttle up to Zermatt. Much less expensive than hotels in Zermatt for only a 1 night stay.

Evening hours for the wellness area were not long enough after a long day of skiing and then enjoying some time in Zermatt. Although we stayed longer than allowed in the spa - no one kicked us out - which was nice.

The stewed partridge was lovely, bursting with flavor and paired perfectly with local accompaniments. I also reveled in the amazing views of the mountains right from my room and the proximity to the Tasch railway station for easy access to Zermatt.

The staff was very friendly and it was a much nicer hotel than I anticipated. The pool and hot tub were small, but extremely well maintained and seemed to meet the demands of the guests. Loved have the ski room available without having to rent a locker. The room was very modern and clean.

Being only a block from the train tracks, might bother some, because you can hear the train, but it was not enough to bother us or keep up from sleeping.

Perfect location near Zermatt, excelent base for hiking in the mountains. Near the train station.

We live in the 21st century and in this hotel internet is for a special price. About 25 chf. The connection is poor and not everywhere you can get an access to the internet. To far away from slopes. The only way you can get to the Zermmat is by train,which is pretty costly. (About 30 chf 2 sides per person). Sauna is small.
